Terms & Conditions – Hockey Performance Tracker (HPT)

Welcome to Hockey Performance Tracker (HPT). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the HPT mobile application, website (https://hpt.pro), and related services (“Service”) provided by HPT Technologies Inc. ("we", "us", or "our").

By using HPT, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.


1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age, or the minimum age in your jurisdiction, to use HPT. If you are under 18, you must use the app under parental supervision. You are responsible for ensuring your account information is truthful and accurate.


2. User Account and Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.


3. Subscription and Payments

  • HPT offers free and paid subscriptions. Paid features may include extended trend data, detailed analytics, or exclusive performance tools.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the billing cycle ends.
  • Payments are handled via Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party processors. We do not store payment information.


4. Data Collection and Privacy

By using HPT, you consent to the collection, processing, storage, and use of your data as described here and in our Privacy Policy.


4.1 What We Collect

We may collect:

  • Account information (e.g., name, email).
  • Performance metrics (e.g., speed, VO2 Max, heart rate, cadence).
  • Health data (e.g., HRV, sleep quality, recovery).
  • Location and device data.
  • Metadata about your sessions and usage behavior.


4.2 How We Use It

You grant HPT Technologies Inc. a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use your data to:

  • Power core features of the app.
  • Analyze and improve services.
  • Offer personalized insights and recommendations.
  • Detect misuse or abuse of the system.


4.3 Aggregated and Anonymized Data

You further grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use aggregated or anonymized data—data stripped of personal identifiers—for:

  • Research and analytics.
  • Performance benchmarking.
  • Marketing, insights, and commercial purposes.


We do not sell personally identifiable information to third parties without your explicit consent.


4.4 Your Rights

Where applicable, you may have the right to:

7. Health Disclaimer

HPT is not a medical device. The app provides informational estimates only and should not be used as a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Consult a physician before beginning any fitness program.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for HPT in the prior 12 months (if any).


9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to HPT if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior. You may delete your account at any time.


10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We’ll notify you of significant changes through the app or website. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.


11. Governing Law
