What is OPS?
Every OPS is the player's full HPT score, including pickup and games in other leagues. League rank and League OPS average use those overall scores.
OPS is the arithmetic average of valid session scores. Each session combines six equal-weight pillars: top speed, average speed, VO₂ max, effort intensity, explosiveness and heart rate recovery. Scores use a 1–99 scale; 50 is the cohort median for each pillar. Every valid session counts equally.
Completed native HPT tracked Games and Pickup sessions with valid speed data count. Component percentiles compare players by age and gender, with a broader fallback for sparse cohorts. Skill level is a leaderboard filter and does not change the score.
Scores are provisional after 3 eligible sessions. Public ranking begins at 5.
What counts as an eligible session?
Completed Games and Pickup sessions tracked natively by HPT on a watch, with valid speed data. Games in any league count. Practices, manually entered sessions and imported sessions do not count.
Scores are provisional after 3 eligible sessions. Public ranking begins at 5.
